FAQs

How do I sign up?
What should I wear?
  • We recommend waterproof hiking/walking boots, long sleeve shirts, and long pants as well as a hat and some additional light layers as you may get cold, even on a warm day.

What should I bring with me?
  • You should bring water and you are welcome to bring snacks/fruit.

  • You may want something to sit or lie on like a groundsheet or picnic blanket.

  • Don't forget sunscreen and any medication you may need.

  • We practice the "leave no trace" policy; we take out what we bring in. Although we are not hiking you might like to bring walking poles if you feel to.

  • You will receive all this information after registering for the session.

Can I take photos or video during the session?
  • Remember that the focus of the session is on you switching off and connecting directly with nature.

  • For that reason, we do not take photos or video during the session and we ask that your phone and electronic smart watches are turned off or set to "do not disturb".

How much does it cost and how do I pay?
Where do sessions take place?
How long do sessions last?
  • Full sessions run between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the location, conditions, and participants.

  • We also run tailored corporate sessions; contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

Can I bring my children or my dog?
  • No. Although we love animals and being around children they may distract you or others on the session and we need you to spend the time focusing on yourself.

  • If you have a service animal, please let us know in advance so we are aware of any accessibility needs.

What information will I get before the session?
  • When you register for a session we will send you details of session and location, our contact details, general medical/physical form, guidance on the location and the weather and what to wear/bring.

  • After the session, we will send some follow-up information and an online session feedback form to you after the session; your comments and suggestions are welcomed.

We honor and respect the many diverse Indigenous people still connected to this land on which we gather and we acknowledge the painful history of genocide and forced removal from their territory.
