Join us on May 1st at Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park, Loveland Colorado
We trained with The Forest Bathing Institute in the UK and are qualified Forest Bathing + guides registered with the global guide network through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.
In 2022 we relocated to Colorado and founded Tangletree Forest Therapy as part of our wider business The Science of Daily Living which includes personal training, golf psychology, and guided mindfulness and meditation.

About us

Being an only child of older parents I spent more time outside in nature than inside. I felt that I belonged to and in nature and am still happiest and at peace outside.
Whilst playing outdoor sports I learned how to breathe and use mindfulness in nature to help me calm myself during stressful situations. As a physiologist I understand how nature affects us.
Throughout my life all my best experiences happened in nature and it felt like a natural progression to become a forest bathing+ guide and encourage others into nature therapy.
Viv Ruocco
As a child, I always felt a deep connection with trees. I trained as a biologist with an emphasis on plants, and my desire to share an understanding of the natural world led me from postgraduate research to becoming a secondary school science teacher for over 15 years.
After leaving the classroom, I trained as a forest bathing guide+ and now I use my knowledge and skills as an educator and scientist to help others experience the transformative power of forest therapy.
